"Big Bangg" is a proper name for the explosive sounds generated by the hobbs-Bard Big Banng, a six-piece jazz-oriented group.

Although the name refers to the nickname for a theory of how the universe was created, it describes the sound of the sextet drummer Gary Hobbs and reedman/synthesist Michael Bard have gathered. The energy is there.

Hardly a straight-ahead band, the Bangg delves into its original music with a well honed musicianship. If there's a cutting edge for original works that define contemporary music, it's being sharpened here.
